Alright it’s time to create an event. To add an event, go to the WordPress menu and navigate to M.E. Calendar > Add Event.

1- Front-end event submission event details, when the end user send a new event from FES Form, can be showing the user data and message on here:

2- Set the date and time of your event. Also, you can set up your event during the whole day and without a specific time, or you can hide the end time from a single events page; or both the start and end time.

Also, you can enter notes such as timezone here, It shows next to event time on the Single Event Page.

Visibility: This feature adds the ability to hide the current event to all MEC Shortcodes.

Countdown: This feature adds the ability to change the countdown method and visibility of events on shortcodes. like counting countdown until event end.

3- You can set event repeats and end repeat for your events here as well. Enable “Show only one occurrence of this event” option if you do not want the next occurrences of events to be displayed on shortcodes.


Also, you can repeat the event at different times using the “custom days” option. 

4- If you have created Custom Fields and enabled “Display Event Fields in Single Event Pages” option. your custom field will be displayed on the single event page (frontend). 


5- You can exclude certain days from event occurrence dates. Please note that you can exclude only single day occurrences and you cannot exclude one day from multiple day occurrences.

6- You can set an hourly schedule for your event. For example, if your event starts at 8 A.M. and continues until 6 P.M., then you can set an hourly schedule from 8 to 10, and specify the plan or content of these two hours. There is no limit for defining hourly schedules.


7- You can specify the venue, plus the name of the place, address, coordinates, etc. 


8- Here, you can add external links and/or info links to your event so that when your users click on them, they’ll be directed to another page with extra information on the event. 


About Links:
  1. When creating a ticket for your event, the “Register” button will appear on your single event page and your shortcodes as well, and clicking it will take you to the register and the booking process.
  2. If you do not set or create a ticket for your events, then there are 2 possibilities:
    1. Set “Event link”: When you set an “Event Link” for your event then when clicking the register button in your shortcodes, it takes you to the external link you’ve set. Also, it will be linked to your event title just like the button (But in a single event you can book your tickets.)
    2. Set “More Info “: When you set a “More Info” link for your event, besides the More info link itself in the single event page, in its widget the register button will do the same function as your More Info does.
  3. When you set both “More Info” and “Event Link” then the More Info widget only shows what has been assigned to it. However, the event link will be set only on the event link itself.

9- Add your organizer here. You can then fill the form with the information of your organizer. This information includes name, phone number, email address, and website or link.



10- Add your event cost with its currency label here.


11- SEO Schema section for informing search engines (Google, Bing, etc) about your events so they can manage your events better. Therefore you can use these statuses to be more Search Engine Friendly. (New properties for virtual, postponed, and canceled events — read more here

11.1- Scheduled: For active events!
11.2- Postponed: If you postponed an event then you can use this status!

11.3- Cancelled: If you cancel an event then you should select this status!
you can fill “Reason for Cancellation” and it will be shown on the events and shortcodes. in order to enable it in event enable the “Display in single event page” option. 

11.4- Moved Online: For the events that moved online!
you can fill Link to join the online event. If you leave it empty event link will be used. 

12- You can customize notifications per event here.

First, please enable this option on the settings.

13- Here you can add the desired occurrence date and set “Total Booking Limit”, “SEO Schema”, and “Hourly Schedule”. Read more.

15- Here, you can add tickets for your event. You can create tickets with different titles; if you are going to sell tickets at different prices then this option is what you want. 

Note: If you change the title to the name of a particular day, then the users will know on certain days tickets prices vary.

16- Enter the information about Fees/Taxes and ticket variations.

18- Organizer payment  you can edit the organizer account on here when using the from FES Form (send a new event from FES form)
