To add an event using the Modern Events Calendar plugin, navigate to the WordPress dashboard and select M.E. Calendar > Add Event from the menu.
MEC events function as WordPress Custom Post Types, which means they require a Title like all other WordPress posts. Additionally, you have the ability to include Descriptions, Excerpts, Tags, Categories, and Featured images, which are features commonly found in WordPress posts and may already be familiar to you.

Enabling MEC Single Sidebar
In order to enable the MEC Single Sidebar, you must navigate to WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets.
Then, under the MEC Single Sidebar menu, click on the + sign and search for the term “MEC,” then, select MEC Single Sidebar Items to add the items to the MEC Single Sidebar, finally click the update button in the top right corner.

Also, you can add a description to your label edit page, and it will be displayed in the MEC single event page sidebar.
